The only thing that was keeping me from purchasing these speakers was price, but later catching them at a significant vulgar price here, i jumped at the chance to buy these. These are not my first set of surround sound speakers actually, they are my second inside the room. My computer has been using klipsch promedia 4.1’s on behalf of years, but later getting and hdtv and an xbox 360, the tv’s speakers were unsuccessfully lacking. Concidering many options, enjoy buying a long-term soldier a long-term soldier amplifier and speaker setup, or buying these wonderful computer speakers… I decided with the later, cause they are so versitile. They get with a dolbydigital and prologic ii decoder! that was the most important, together with with optical and numerical coax inside (along with headphone jacks on behalf of the traditional computer in) its a 5.1 that is true surround enjoy from the greater number of movie titles, and the speakers are just awesome inside sound and quality. The ill-conditioned is fricken huge and has a heatsink on it cause i guess it tin can get lovely enthusiastic (the decoder is the pre-amp) but the ill-conditioned is powerful too! The first rhythm i tried the speakers out at full volume a picture frame fell off the wall! Haha! ^_^

The only down side is that sound from regular rca jacks cannot be pluged into the pre-amp, but you tin can buy rca-to-minijack (headphone plug) adaptors that work moderately capably (and they still tin can decode prologic ii encoded sound!) And logitech z-5500 speakers only has one optical and numerical out, but at this price you cant find anything better.
