I like to cook pairing wine with food outside of mainstream America, so for this adventure, I was on the "Gulf Stream" and cruise over to the Bahamas! Bimini, Bahamas, just 42 miles east of Miami, is a simple day trip by boat, until in January 2007 to May "catch" is your own conch for supper. I say catch, but not really moving too fast as ….. soon. Currently, with the new regulations of the Bahamas, citizens gathered in the Bahamas"Shell" animals.

The April, when friends and I had a Bimini Bash, we had to wait for the "guy shell for his capture. Cruise Pier in a 12 foot flats boat was decorated" man "dressed in a bright purple dress wet his boat laden with the beautiful queen conch pronounced ("Viva La Vida"). Bargaining started … how many … They want us to clean them … Of course … We would like to take a souvenir shells … maybe. .. OK, a couple of dollars and a few coldBudweiser, we have an agreement.

Now the fun begins! Before I really for the preparation of this tasty treat I open a bottle of cold Kalik …. that beer in the Bahamas with some excellent 'lime …… I want ice cream with a straw, but that's my little secret …. The majority of people such as lime. Preparation of the shell can be cracked and working thirsty! When the tank is completely clean, and everything I have removed the orange and black "party", I cut into slices ¼ inchso I just ledges. Then, I bring my shell "experts "….. this device strikes fear into the hearts of my husband …. I think because I like this part too! Place fillets on a plastic cutting board and began shooting the heck out of them …. I love my tender point on the possibility of a newspaper to read.

Now seasoned flour them, dip in beaten egg, then scrape into a bowl and place in the meantime ….. heat release in a little butter in a saucepan (Isaid it was not heart healthy !)….. It 'best outside if this is possible because of the confusion that ago, but if there is a fire that will work everywhere. Gently fry the rings on both sides until golden brown and place on a paper towel to drain.

OK, now we're ready to start business ….. what we are doing with this delicacy of the wine in the Bahamas? One of my favorites is a clean, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc in France to complete the thought.

The records in the tankwith slices of fresh lime on the side, my favorite accent and also I had a Tartar guide to put Miracle Whip and enjoy pickled …. hey in the Bahamas, you'll find the link ….. cool can! Wine Food cracked conch, chilled Sauvignon Blanc, good friends …. What more could you want? Cheers!
